First bath...

Here are some pictures of Darla's first bath....it's been awhile....but still cute! She was very relaxed and enjoyed the entire thing!

First day of PRESCHOOL!!

Oh my, I can't believe it! Nolan had his FIRST day of Preschool at Central Christian Academy today! We went Tuesday to meet the teacher....and we LOVE his teachers...and the program! There are 11 students and 2 teachers. WHICH, my poor sister who teachers 1st grade has 24 students and ONE teacher...I felt a little bad for her...BUT these students are only 3. :)

Anyway, he had so much fun on Tuesday, he was just PUMPED to go back today! We got up early and were so on time I even had a chance to go through Sonic for a tea! WHEW!! Good stuff!

He walked right into the class room and started playing this morning after finding his hook for his bag...which I think he could fit in. :) HA! Anyway, he played and played and when I told him I was leaving he yelled, "Have fun mom"! :) I said you too!! Then as I walked out the door he ran over and gave me a big kiss and said, "I love you"!! OH...melt my heart! I'm sure he won't do that every year in the years to come, but it was the BEST today and just precious!

When I picked him up, he came running to me with a big ole smile and hug!! He had a great day and is ready to go back next week! Praise the Lord for such a wonderful preschool program and teachers! It's going to be a great year!

Baby Shower and more

We had a great weekend, Friday we had family pictures. It was quite a deal, but thanks to my helpers, mom and Megan we made it and I can't wait to see the pictures on the first of September!

We spent Saturday at Robin's house. Kate had her first trip to Aunt Robin's and loved it! :) I took Megan to get a new outfit for the first day of school for all of her hard work this week. We had fun, even though we only had about an hour, it was JUST Megan and I and it's been a long time since we've had just US shopping so good times! Megan found a really cute outfit for the first day of school...8th grade!!

Sunday we enjoyed our first church/sunday school with Kate. We were late of course, but we made it. :) It's crazy to get two kids and a husband ready! Not to mention yourself. :)

Sunday afternoon my friends had a beautiful and wonderful shower for Kate. I'd been telling my friends that Kate would be here for her shower...they were a little skeptical, but Kate proved she's a party girl like her mom and was present! :) Cute as ever and slept the whole time. Good girl!! We were showered with so many cute things, clothes, shoes and the necessities...diapers! :) I love it!! It was so much fun and so great to have my friends and family together to celebrate Kate.

Monday was our first day with no help. Grandma and Grandpa went home, John went back to work and Megan was here for the morning and some of the afternoon and then went home. We survived and all was well. We even took a trip to Dillon's...Kate, Nolan and I. It took us an hour and a half, but we made it and again, we survived! :) Thanks to the great It was a bit of a wake up call when at bed time Nolan was crying for me and Kate was crying for me. Luckily Kate calmed down and watched football with daddy while I got Nolan to sleep. Daddy's a good helper! :)

So fun..

We're having a blast this week settling in with Baby. Grandma and Grandpa are here and Miss Willson is as well. We're all getting our fix and I have to say Miss Willson and Grandma are SUCH good help!! Goodness, I don't know what I'll do after they leave on Monday! That's when the "real world" will hit I'm sure! But, for now....we're al having a great time. I think grandma is ready to move down here, she's having so much fun! Today they all went to Derby to hang out with the Vincent Crew for the day. Baby and I just relaxed, took a nap and enjoyed some visitors! Another great meal was brought out from the Sunday school class. THANK YOU!! IT was YUMMY!!!

Tomorrow we are all venturing out for Baby's newborn pictures. Spanky and John and I will have a few as well with her, but it's her session! YEAH!! Too much fun!!

Settling In

Well, we've been home a full day and a half now and things are going pretty good! We had a great stay in the hospital. Great nurses, doctors and lots of fun visitors! You know me, I love visitors so it was way fun! Spanky is being a GREAT big brother. He's helping me get things for Darla and being very gentle with her. His favorite thing as a baby was the bouncy seat with the fish swimming, he STILL loves it and wants Darla in it at all times. When she is in there, sleeping, he wants to be sure the fish are swimming for her! :)

Mom and dad came in yesterday and Miss Willson is here to help too. OH, they are all so helpful and I really appreciate it!! Monday when we got home my brother's family was coming through on their way home from Dallas and my sister brought Spanky home along with dinner so we had a great visit with all my siblings and all the cousins got to meet the new addition! It was lots of fun.

Let me introduce you...

Kate Annison Willson was born 4:59 PM, August 7, 2009. She is 6 pounds 2 ounces and 17 inches long. She is SUPER sweet and just a beauty. When she cries she looks just like her big brother! She is just precious and a true gift from God. Thank you for all of the prayers and texts we have received! We are truly blessed!

Interesting Day...

Well, today was our 37 week check up. I met my Dr.'s partner today as my Dr. will be out of town for the next week or so. She was great, very sweet, reminded me of a friend of mine who is also a physician and I was VERY comfortable with her. She listened to heart beat, sounds great! She checked for head down...well, Little MIss Willson must be going to be a gymnast because although she was head down last week, she is head UP this week. They got me in for a quick sonogram to see if all was okay. Miss Willson is fine, however the fluid levels around her are a little low. They advised me to come home and drink lots of water and we'll do another sonogram tomorrow morning at 10:30. If fluids remain low, Dr. will go ahead and admit us for delivery via C-Section. I was of course a little "FULL" of information and being a "little" hormonal was VERY grateful for Friends Dr. Libby and Jenn's expertise to help "dumb down" the information and give it to me in "Randa terms". :) SO, tonight is a little bitter sweet. We could very likely have a sweet baby girl tomorrow, however tonight might be the last night with just "Spanky". SO, as I'm sure you can imagine, "Spank" is getting away with about whatever tonight...but hey, his world is going to change too...maybe quicker than we thought. :) SO, I will get back to him, but prayers for all tomorrow would be great!! Getting Ready

Well, the time is getting closer and I FINALLY have the kids rooms done! What I thought would take a couple of weeks, has taken MOST of the summer, but we finally got it DONE! Thanks to John for hanging whatever crazy thing I came up with in their rooms!! :) I finished the lamp this morning and finally we are complete! YEAH!
