Saturday evening my parents got the entire group hooked on some computer game...here is "Cafe Willson" it was seriously like Starbucks...every one of them had their own computer...yes, that is 5 people with their own laptop and Alfalfa was downstairs at the time but he had one two...count em 6 LAPTOPS!! What has this world come to?? I do believe they were all playing and challenging each other so at least they had a common interest. :)
We are not a family that "Glorifies" the Easter Bunny or Santa or whatever as we like our kids to know the true meaning of the holiday. However they do always get a little treat from the Easter Bunny or Santa or again, which ever holiday it may be. Therefore, the Easter Bunny did make a little visit to the Willson house. Spanky had been quite interested in this for awhile as when he got his hair cut Mel asked him about his basket and what the Easter Bunny was going to bring him. He's much like me, GIFTS is his love language! :) So earlier in the week I took him to Michaels and he picked out baskets for all 4 of them. He was very particular about who got what....He got BLUE, Darla got PINK, Miss Rascal got PURPLE and Alfalfa got YELLOW! It was very important that they were set out in order as well. Anyway, he was STOKED when the Easter Bunny had paid him a visit and the baskets were filled with goodies. He came running into our room and yelled, THE EASTER BUNNY COME!! SO cute the excitement to see his basket filled with goodies. NOW, before I show the pictures you must know a couple things. 1. We are very sure to have the same DOLLAR amount for each children, so when seeing the older kids baskets vs. Spanky's basket, please know that we love all of our children equally and he wasn't Favored his stuff is just cheaper! :) 2. We did this BEFORE church and our church starts at 8:30, making us leave at 8:15, making EASTER Basket time VERY EARLY FOR TEENAGERS! :)
Darla's first Easter Basket...lots of toys in her basket, favorite thing to chew on....the shoes.
Spanky was just super excited and so many fun things. His favorite was probably the puzzle. I really tried not to do a lot of candy this year as I'm the one that usually ends up eating it. :)
Miss Rascal did great showing wonderful excitement so early in the am.
Alfalfa, not so much, i think he really could have waited for the all awesome AE shirt and boxers to be received after church...but what a nice big brother to get up and enjoy the festivities. :)
We went to church for a wonderful sermon, great music and a fabulous Sunday School class. After...Alfalfa was a little more awake and ready to play with Darla.
If my husband and kids know ANYTHING about me at all, it's that I LOVE a good family picture...so here is the gift to me...it was really windy but we made it and got some good ones.
We had a wonderful dinner at the house with family and dear friends and a couple of competitions...I'll be back for part III of the Willson Easter Weekend!
