So curious at 2...

We had a great weekend.  The weather is perfect and we really enjoyed some time outside yesterday with Nolan.  Nolan got quite the experience yesterday.  First of all John and I took him for a walk around the front yard.  He was driving his arctic cat and we were walking.  Turns out, there is COW POO in our yard!  Yes, the other day we had 15 cows in our front yard eating our grass.  I guess it was time for us to start mowing! :)  

Nolan then took up a battle with a snapping turtle.  He wanted to touch it SO bad, but it was a feisty little thing so John gave him a stick to poke at it.  Well, the smart young thing he is quickly broke the stick in half to get a little closer.  He did finally touch the back of the turtle with his toe and he about peed his pants it was so exciting.  

Then off to the grasshoppers.  Nolan LOVES to smash the grasshoppers, then clean them up with a towel.  What a good boy! :) Anyway, he went chasing one grasshopper into a tree and just as he bent over to pick it up, it JUMPED at his head! Oh, he came out of that tree with his feet on fire, brushing his head.  He was laughing the whole way, but I believe he was thinking, "HE BUZZED ME".  

Well, that is the update from the weekend.  It was an adventurous one that's for sure!
