Homecomingfest 2008

What a weekend!!  We had a really great weekend.  It was Homecoming in Augusta, which in turn was the "Homecomingfest" in the city of Augusta.  Saturday we attended the parade and the "Yesteryear Fair" at the Museum where we saw Cowboys have a gun fight show down!  Afterwards Nolan was all about the "Cowboys go POP POP POP" from the guns.  :)  

Saturday evening, instead of a street dance, Augusta does a "Social Ball" this year it was an 80's theme called the Black and Orange Bash!  It was a blast!!  We all got dressed up and enjoyed a night out with friends.  We went to dinner with some friends first and let me tell you, it's been awhile since we've been out to an adult only dinner.  It was quite relaxing not to have a toddler with you.  I LOVE HIM TO DEATH, but it's nice to have a meal among adults from time to time!  

Then off to the bash we went.  Our mayor and friend, put together a fabulous slide show from former Augusta year books.  It was great to see some of our friends in their "glory days".  Then we danced the night away to 80's music. 

The hit of the night was Mr. Cox dressing in full 80's gear with the mullet and all!!  Tammy, I think you have a keeper!! :)
